Change Cursor Color Mac
This short guide will explain how to change the cursor size on a Mac, which can be incredibly helpful if you find yourself always looking for it.
How do I change the size and colour of the flashing cursor in my textfield using my storyboard for my Mac app. I assume I have to connect it into the view controller script (control drag) and edit some uitextfield color parameter for the cursor? But I don't seem to be getting anywhere fast. I am working in swift 2.2 with Mac app Storyboards. Anything that allows you to change the color is paid software. Here's MightyMouse. Unfortunately, it looks like MightyMouse has been discontinued:(I would recommend this free software that displays a circle around your cursor. When you haven't moved your mouse for awhile and you move it, it'll display a circle around the pointer.
With increasingly larger screen resolutions, wider screens, and the use of multiple monitors, lately I’ve found myself losing sight of the cursor more and more often.
Yes, I could shake my mouse pointer like crazy to make it larger, but I find that to be much more of a hassle than simply increasing the cursor size.
Macos Change Mouse Cursor Color
- Click the “Apple button” in the top-left corner of your screen and select System Preferences… from the drop-down menu.
- In the System Preferences locate and select the Accessibility icon.
- First, select Display from the navigation panel on the left side of the window. Then click the Cursor tab at the top of that same window. Finally, use the Cursor size slider to increase the size of your cursor (it will change in size as you use the slider).
- Once you’re happy with the size of the cursor you can close the System Preferences window. Congratulations and hopefully you’ll lose track of the cursor a lot less often going forward :)
